ADMIN ASSISTANT – POST ROOM

 Summary

An Admin Assistant is required for our Post Room which forms part of our Administration Department at our head office at Sale Point, 126-150 Washway Road, Sale, M33 6AG.  

 The ideal candidate will have experience working within an office environment.  They will be hardworking and the successful candidate will play an important role in team.  The position is varied and challenging.

 The Role Involves:

  • Photocopying, scanning, printing

  • Checking stationery / ordering stationery / managing stationery across departments

  • Checking first aid boxes are fully stocked

  • Checking emergency lighting is operational

  • Opening and distributing of post / franking post / ordering postal supplies

  • Arranging couriers

  • Hand deliveries

  • Reception cover when required

  • Assisting with office moves

  • Clearing paper jams from photocopiers /  arranging repairs when necessary

  • Arranging storage and collection of confidential waste and cardboard

  • Replacing light bulbs when necessary / ordering of supplies of light bulbs

  • Keeping stationery cupboards in a neat and orderly manner

  • Moving boxes of files either when delivered or for collection

  • Driving license

 Additional Information:-

  • Death in Service x 2 salary
  • Private Medical Insurance cover (subject to eligibility)

  • Holidays – 22 days per annum (Pro rata equivalent if part time)

  • 3% contribution (by employer) to pension scheme
