1st Line Service Desk Analyst / Manchester

Providing initial IT support to the Firm and its IT dept you will be logging and responding to inbound calls and emails and escalating where necessary to the appropriate IT resource. This will be supported by a great working environment and a company which believes in training its colleagues and promotes a collaborative approach to its work.

  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in 1st Line support is desired.


The ideal 1st Line Service Desk Analyst is someone who is polite and can present themselves to others in a professional and courteous manner when handling queries or questions. You may find yourself helping Partners and owners of the Firm or its clients and suppliers and must consistently attain the high standard of service expected. You must have a "can-do" attitude and look to own a problem, willing to ensure it is appropriately resolved. An attention to detail is needed to ensure that calls and emails are logged with sufficient detail to inform others who need to understand the issue. You will not necessarily know the answer to every query so need to be prepared to research and learn a solution, working with others when needed to do so. Being part of a professional Law Firm will also mean understanding the administrative procedures and processes and ensuring compliance with them.

Ideally, you will have a CV which shows you have prior 1st Line Support experience and you will be able to communicate your enthusiasm for providing excellent service in a professional environment.
