Employment Solicitor - 2+ PQE - National Firm - Milton Keynes

BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting an award winning national law firm in its recruitment of an Employment Solicitor. This employment team is ranked Band 1 in Chambers & Partners and recognised as a Leader in the Field by the Legal 500.

The team provide a specialist employment law and HR advisory service to a range of companies from PLC's to SME's.

This includes advice on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, redundancy, whistle-blowing, restructures and strategic advice to senior management teams and boards. They also advise senior executives and professionals in all aspects of the employment relationship.

About the role:

The team is seeking an Employment Associate to its friendly and dynamic team based in Milton Keynes.

The nature of the work is fast paced and their clients' interests are paramount so you must possess and demonstrate an enthusiasm, energy and passion for employment law, have exceptionally strong communication skills and work well within a team..

The team has experienced and is continuing to experience rapid growth, so this role would also suit someone who is looking to get involved in business development.

Your skills and qualifications:

- Have directly relevant previous experience and a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
- An enthusiastic approach and passion for Employment law.
- Strong communication skills.
- A team player.
- A proven track record of competent financial management, ability to meet client expectations and sound case management skills.
- Good IT skills, experience, and confidence with using case management systems, electronic time recording and general Microsoft packages.
