The Yorkshire Law Society  was established during the reign of George III and is the second oldest law society in the land.  Firmly committed to meeting the ever changing needs of all practitioners within the Yorkshire region. Annual dinners are made famous by the society's silver collection proudly displayed on the top table.  Manchester University Law Society:

   If you have made it to Manchester University Law school congratulations you are at one of the top institutions in the country and deserve a well done. MULS or Manchester University Law Society is run by students for students. Our society, renowned for its prestigious and extravagant events, is the largest one in Manchester, with over 30 sponsors covering a wide variety of business types, including: international law firms, banking firms and multinational firms. Said firms will continue to take an active role as members along side MULS to organise a gratifying experience for you.

Recognised as the biggest legal centre outside of London, Leeds is steeped in legal history and none more so than the Leeds Law Society. One of the largest and most influential Societies incorporated in 1870 the society elected their very first female president 7 years after their centenary and in 2005 had more members registered at once than ever before reflecting the growth of the society.
