ILSPA announces next legal secretaries diploma evening class

Our partners, The Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs have launched their next legal secretaries diploma evening class, which you can join now! See more details below:

ILSPA has been working with aspiring Legal Secretaries since 1990 and one of their main aims is to provide recognised and affordable training to Students. As such, ILSPA’s Legal Secretaries Diploma course is one of the most comprehensive and best value courses on the market.

Sarah Mudd who recently completed her qualification with ILSPA said:

“A fantastic course to have completed. I thoroughly enjoyed attending the classes. The tutor was brilliant and made learning about the Law really interesting. The classes were well structured and easy to follow which complemented completing the coursework portfolio from home. The Institute has been invaluable in providing sound advice with the course instructions whenever I struggled. They helped me jazz up my CV making it look more professional and have made me feel more confident in applying for Legal Secretary employment. A lovely institution that gave me a really warm welcome and introduction to Law. I recommend that future students attend the Royal Courts of Justice Tour as this really inspired and convinced me that it is a career choice to be satisfied with. I can’t thank the team enough for their support in my studies.”

About the diploma

The Diploma is a vocational qualification, designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to gain employment as a Legal Secretary. One of the ways the course can be studied is through attending evening classes at Regent’s University in London.

How it works

ILSPA’s classes are taught over 14 lessons which take place between 6.30 and 9.30pm, one evening per week. Although there are 14 weeks of classes, Students have up to one year to complete the course. Alongside attending classes, Students need to set aside some time to study and complete coursework at home each week.

Students are provided with the course materials and resources which support the class online and no additional books are required. The online material acts as a valuable learning aid throughout the course. In addition, our tutors expand on the lectures through the use of slides and provide Students with real life examples throughout the classes.

Benefits

A large benefit of attending ILSPA’s classes is being able to ask questions as you go along. Attending the evening class not only provides the opportunity to be taught the course material by a tutor, but also the chance to meet other Students who are studying the course and make valuable connections. Our Students love the interactive nature of the evening classes and find it very beneficial to discuss topics in detail with the other Students as well as an expert tutor.

Our tutors are highly experienced and have been teaching for us for a number of years. Seamus Ryan, for example, started teaching after he finished law school, over 20 years ago. He specialises in legal training and is a qualified Solicitor, a member of the Institute for Learning and a Law Society accredited Lexcel consultant. Seamus is very popular with our Students due to his friendly and helpful teaching approach.

There is an abundance of help and support available during your studies. In addition to receiving assistance from your tutor, you also have access to a Course Assessor and ILSPA’s team who will be happy to answer any questions you have about the coursework.
