An international law firm with offices in several countries around the world are looking to recruit a US Tax lawyer with around 1-5 years of experience to join the London office. The role is within our clients U.S. tax practice.
For this role, you will need a U.S. J.D. and preferably have a tax LL.M. U.S. tax court clerks (or other judicial clerkships) are a plus. This practice focuses on capital market transactions, general experience regarding taxation of financial instruments and derivatives, withholding tax and treaty issues and international tax (emphasis on subpart F).To be successful you will arrive as a confident individual able to stand on your own two feet and to contribute to the team as a whole. You will have excellent academics as well as 'hands on' partnership tax experience as well as general corporate taxation and M&A transactional experience either during training and post qualification with a well-known City or regional law firm.
