My client, a leading City law firm with a strong reputation for quality and innovation; are looking to recruit a qualified tax solicitor looking to practise in a very wide range of tax areas and transactions both domestic and overseas
The practice covers the full range of property and corporate tax issues (the latter
in the context of M & A, reorganisations, joint ventures and private equity deals). The team also
provides industry specific advice and can advise on both direct and indirect taxes in relation to
film funding and other structured finance, a myriad of funds structures (whatever the asset class),
e-commerce, exploitation of intellectual property, outsourcing and betting and gaming.
They provide a full training programme contributed to by all members of the team.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with other teams from across the firm such as
corporate, real estate, banking, film and share schemes
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· NQ+ tax solicitors with quality all-round post-qualification tax experience and/or who have
completed at least one tax seat during their training contract
· Good training with solid tax experience gained within a quality environment or team.
· Good technical ability and drafting skills.
· Driven, enthusiastic and flexible team player
· Excellent academic record – minimum 2.1 degree
