Our client is one of Hampshire's leading law firms with several offices based in the South of England. As well as providing a full legal service for the private client, including divorce and family matters, conveyancing, wills and probate, and trust and tax planning, the firm also has one of the largest dedicated commercial and corporate departments in the area and can count some of the region's major businesses amongst its client base. Our client is also widely recognised as being at the forefront of personal injury compensation claims.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join their Tax and Trusts Department based in Lymington, Hampshire.
This post will involve providing corporation taxation support to our client's Company Department in addition to providing Private Client advice.
You should be a STEP practitioner and Chartered Institution of Taxation qualified.
In the role, you will be involved with Capital Tax planning, Wills, Inheritance Tax and Trusts, including the commercial aspects.
You should have experience regarding the preparation and negotiation of tax deeds and warranties, experience of domicile issues for non-UK domiciled individuals, experience of post death tax planning using Deeds of Variation and Lasting/Enduring Powers of Attorney.
A suitable candidate will have an interest in marketing and be prepared to network, write articles and newsletters and run seminars.
