TAX SOLICITOR - CENTRAL LONDON
Leading Legal 500 firm is looking for a Tax Associate to join Corporate Commercial team
Job Purpose:
To deliver good-quality work on all tax related matters for transactions undertaken by the Property and Corporate Commercial Departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
· General tax advice on property transactions including VAT and SDLT planning.
· Advising on tax efficient property investment structures for onshore and offshore investors and institutions including property investment fund structuring.
· Advice to overseas companies establishing UK operations.
· Structuring M & A transactions for private and public companies and their shareholders.
· Drafting and negotiating tax warranties and indemnities.
· Advice on tax efficient share incentives for employees and directors.
Skills and Experience
· Ability to analyse complex information and demonstrate logical thinking.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work with wide variety of clients, from entrepreneurial base and private companies to AIM listed public companies, to fully listed public companies.
· Good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential
