TAX LAWYER/ASSOCIATE
Our client's tax team advises on the full range of business taxes, including Capital Allowances, Corporation Tax, VAT and SDLT and act in relation to new acquisitions and disposals, restructuring holdings and tax efficient property investment, often with an international element.
Ideally the successful candidate will have at least 2 years PQE and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the application of all UK taxes to a broad range of real estate and corporate transactions. Our client works with an impressive list of companies including well known national residential and commercial property developers, pension funds, investors, banks and hotels.
The successful candidate will be working on the following:
· SDLT mitigation and planning structures
· Tax efficient structuring of real estate acquisitions and disposals
· General VAT, SDLT and capital allowance advice
· Use of structured finance arrangements for ownership of UK properties (residential and commercial)
· Alternative finance arrangements for foreign investors of UK property.
