This mid-size City firm combines a high-profile commercial and entrepreneurial practice with a lively and informal atmosphere and strong profitability.
They are seeking a corporate/property tax lawyer to join at associate level to work on transactions undertaken by the Property and Corporate Commercial departments.
You will need to be comfortable in the following areas:
General tax advice on property transactions including VAT and SDLT planning
Advising on tax-efficient property investment structures for onshore and offshore investors and institutions
including property investment fund structuring
Advice to overseas companies establishing UK operations
Structuring M&A transactions for private and public companies and their shareholders
Drafting and negotiating tax warranties and indemnities
Advice on tax-efficient share incentives for employees and directors
You will need to be a multi-tasker with good client-facing skills; in particular, you must be able to work with entrepreneurial clients, and good interpersonal and team skills are essential.
Salary to £110,000
