A newly qualified solicitor with a real desire to specialise in tax law is sought by this top 200 legal practice in Bristol. This is an opportunity to join a Legal 500 rated tax team and work alongside some of the regions most recognised individuals.
The department handles both corporate and high net worth individual tax issues and has an established and expanding client list. Work is varied, intellectually stimulating and involves cross border issues. Initial work will include providing advice to clients, managing a caseload and assisting with complex issues. The firm's commitment to training and development means that exposure to high value work is assured.
Additional experiences will include liasing with colleagues in other departments on related matters and assisting with business development. Development activity will include meeting new clients, helping to pitch for new business and attending social events.
Applicants should have tax experience gained during training, whilst corporate training is also desirable. Good communication skills and a client focussed approach are sought after personal characteristics.
