An international law firm with offices in several countries around the world are looking to recruit a US Securities lawyer 3-5 years of experience to join the London office.
The role is within the mainstream capital markets practice. This practice predominantly involves unregistered (Reg S/144A) equity and debt transactions in a wide range of jurisdictions across Europe, with a certain emphasis on emerging markets in CEE/SEE and Middle East/Africa.
This is a dynamic practice, and there is nothing "routine" about the work required from you. The legal issues and practical problems you will face will vary enormously from transaction to transaction. Therefore, you will need to have the flexibility of mind to cope with an ever-shifting set of responsibilities, plus the judgment, maturity and energy to lead a team. The practice also involves SEC reporting issues, other aspects of US regulatory compliance and non-mainstream work such as covered bonds and high yield, as well as M&A.

To be successful you will arrive as a confident individual able to stand on your own two feet and to contribute to the team as a whole. You will have excellent academics as well as 'hands on' experience either during training and post qualification with a well-known City or regional law firm.
