REGULATORY LAWYER - MANCHESTER
Leading full service international law firm seeks Regulatory Lawyer 3 years + PQE to join Corporate Defence and Regulatory team. The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. They will have a mixed regulatory background ideally covering health & safety, contentious environment, product safety, trading standards and food safety. Candidates must be technically excellent but, equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. Marketing and business development will also be an essential part of the role. They will be a team player with a strong client focused approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills. The firm need someone who can advise on technical points of law, attend sites during a "dawn raid" or an inspection by an enforcement authority, sit in during a PACE interview, represent clients in court, attend a Coroner's inquest or undertake client training.
