Due to an impending period of maternity leave, our clients Projects team are seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary to join their team. The role is for a minimum of 9 months. There may be an opportunity of this being extended at a later date.
The current post-holder will be commencing Maternity Leave on Monday 6 October 2008, and the team is ideally seeking the replacement to be in the post by Monday 29 September 2008 to ensure a short handover.
The role is based in Cambridge. The type of support needed is strong document processing skills as you will be working on documents that can be between a few pages up to 250 pages.
Responsibilities:
· Using Winzip
· Audio typing using digital dictation
· Creating draft bills and accompanying letters
· Powerpoint presentations in relation to legal tenders
· Administration tasks to include expenses, conference calls, booking internal and external meeting rooms, arranging hotel and travel arrangements and opening and closing files
Skills & Experience:
· Previous legal secretarial experience is essential, minimum of 2 years within a law firm
· Excellent communication and organisation skills
· Fast and accurate typing skills, 65 wpm min
· Flexible
· Excellent team player
