Job Description

Solicitor sought to join a busy team based in Norwich. Reporting to the partners in the team, you will undertake a wide variety of professional indemnity negligence cases, encompassing the majority of professions. The work will be varied in nature and claim value. It will include advising insurers on coverage issues.

Skills & Experience:

Good academics - 2.1 degree or equivalent with A levels (A,A,C)
Technically strong
Experience gained in professional negligence claims (both litigated and pre-litigation) against wide range of professions
Excellent drafting and writing skills - in particular experience of writing reports to insurers within the London market.
Advising on policy issues
Excellent communicator being able to demonstrate ability to express clearly and succinctly.
Good interpersonal skills, team skills and ability to build relationships
Proactive with systematic and methodical approach to work
Good organisational and time management skills
Solution orientated
Client focussed, enthusiastic about networking and business development
Reinsurance experience or at least an understanding of the general principles of reinsurance.
Marketing experience.
2+ years experience

Salary is in line with market rates.
