One of South Wests highest regarded law firms currently has an opening for an Assistant Solicitor. The role is based in the firms Yeovil office, the successful candidate will work as part of an established team to support an existing workload and to play a key role in developing and expanding the firms client base.

 

The role consists of dealing with a wide range of Estate Administration, Will drafting, Trust Administration, Inheritance Tax Advice and associated matters. Knowledge of Conveyancing would be an advantage.

 

Skills & Relevant Experience:

 

·         1+ year PQE

·         Thorough knowledge of Probate law and practice, Will drafting, Inheritance Tax planning, Trust law, Powers of Attorney and general Private Client matters

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         The ability to manage an efficient caseload

·         Ability to work without supervision

·         Strong commercial awareness

·         Prepared to undertake the STEP qualification

·         Motivated and a self starter
