A Legal 200 commercial firm is looking for a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive with 3 - 5 years PQE.
This role will bridge the gap between the partner and newly qualified solicitor, providing support to the partner. Able to handle their own workload, and assist in supervising a probate clerk and a trainee shared by the Private Client and Tax teams.
The workload is a mix of will drafting, probate, trusts, charities and (to a very limited extent) lifetime affairs management. The client base is a mixture of the businessmen and women for whom the firm acts on commercial matters (from all walks of life and all commercial areas), the comfortably retired, and (again to a very limited extent) their wider families. The firm does not seek "High Street" or off the street work.
The role is pivotal to the growth of the team, the medium term ambition for which is to grow to an equivalent size as the existing commercial teams. The job offers candidates an exciting and unusual chance to shape their own role within a team at the start of its growth, rather than just filling the shoes of a recently departed fee earner. In essence, it is a private client role for a commercial lawyer, who will fit into what is already recognised as a very successful commercial firm.
