My client is a very well respected firm with origins that go back over 115 years, and have an excellent reputation for the quality of their service and expert advice. They have an ever growing list of "blue chip" corporations, smaller commercial businesses and high net worth and professional private clients both nationally and internationally.
Over the years the practice has been recognised for the quality of its work and has regularly featured in "Chambers Guide to the Profession" and "The Legal 500".
The firm is made up of 16 partners, 20 additional solicitors and has approx 90 staff in total.
Following a strategic review, the practice has recently been restructured into five main business groups to provide an enhanced service to its clients, and they now have a vacancy for a Senior Private Client Solicitor (wills/probate, trusts and tax) for their central London office.
The role will involve managing an existing team of 2 solicitors, a legal executive and a secretary (although the department has been earmarked for significant growth). The successful candidate will have a track-record of billing £200,000+ p.a. and will be very comfortable with business development and marketing activities.

Person / Experience Required
The ideal candidate will be at least eight years PQE+ with experience gained in a busy City/large regional practice, and will have a polished, mature and consultative approach.
