Excellent opportunity for an experienced trust administrator to support fee earners across the Trust & Tax teams in both Leeds and Manchester, the successful candidate will:
· Have the ability to draft and interpret Trust documents
· Be capable of arranging the distribution of capital and income from trusts
· Be proficient in the calculation of inheritance tax and capital gains tax liabilities
· Be computer literate with particular experience of accounting software systems
Skills & Competencies required · Have detailed knowledge of the principal legislation and key cases relating to the administration of trusts
· Show evidence of ability to manage a demanding case load
· Have experience of completing income/capital gains tax and inheritance tax returns
· Have knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules but this is not essential
· Have knowledge of anti money laudering requirements
· Posess significant experince of trust accounting.
· Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with clients verbally and in writing.
· Be able to work largely indepndently with minimal supervison
· Excellent communication skills
· Highly organised with a "can do" attitude
· Works efficiently in a fast paced environment and on own initiative
· Flexible and adaptable approach
