PRIVATE CLIENT PROBATE SOLICITOR - CORNWALL
Leading south West Legal 500 firm has a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client lawyer to join their team in Cornwall
The candidate
Must be a solicitor
Have experience in a law firm that has a significant private client team
An individual who is a team player, client friendly, proactive, hard working and computer literate.
A participant in the firm's private client business development activities
Have an accomplished level of knowledge in the majority of the following areas:-
· Will drafting and inheritance tax planning
· Estate administration
· Lasting powers of attorney
· Court of protection and Deputyship applications
· Issues affecting the elderly
· Trust law and administration
Particular specialisms which would be of interest include:
·IHT, CGT and other personal tax planning
·Lifetime settlements
·Trust law and administration including for disabled beneficiaries/personal injury compensation trusts
·Continuing care claims
Memberships of the following will be encouraged:
·STEP
·Probate Section of the Law Society
·Solicitors for the Elderly
