Job Description

A well-known City firm with a strong private client practice is seeking a mid-to senior-level person with 5+ years of relevant experience in the non-contentious private client field. The candidate should have the technical ability to advise on personal capital taxes (IHT and CGT) and income tax, and knowledge of all areas of private client work, including tax planning, trusts, wills, administration of estates, EPA/LPAs, etc. Expertise in offshore matters is advantageous non-UK domiciliaries, but also UK domiciliaries with extensive global interests. A modest following would be welcome, though the ability to build a practice is essential. A positive time allowance for business development would be allocated and the candidate would be expected to contribute fully to the business development activities of the team and the firm as a whole.Salary £65,000+
