A Birmingham Legal 500 firm is currently seeking a highly organised Legal Secretary with ideally some Wills and Probate experience to join their firm in September 2008. Salary up to £18.5k.
The Client: Our client is a Legal 500 firm and is widely recognised within Birmingham, established since the early 1930's they have transformed over the years and expanded into a very successful, dynamic and highly regarded firm. All staff are aided by the latest technology and have meticulous attention to detail as well as being committed to their clients needs and the firm's expectations.
The Role: Applicants will ideally have Wills and Probate experienced but general legal experience will be considered, so long as the candidate is prepared to be trained in this field. The successful candidate will be joining two experienced Legal Secretaries and will help support four Fee Earners, with duties to include: Audio typing, liaising with clients, diary management, handling incoming calls etc. Candidates will be dealing often with high net worth clients and must therefore demonstrate strong communication and interaction skills, alongside a minimum typing speed of 60Wpm. Previous experience as a Legal Secretary is essential.
Please note this role is due to commence in September 2008 and will offer a salary of up to £18.5k, depending upon experience.
