Private Client Solicitor Job/ Trusts and Tax / Geneva Switzerland
Our client is a leading city practice with a growing presence in Geneva, Switzerland. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join its Geneva office.
The Private Client team with 13 partners and a worldwide team of 70 have a very good reputation in the marketplace.
Their Geneva office was opened in 2006 and is noted in Legal 500 for the quality of its work and personnel.
The successful candidate will be an English qualified Solicitor with offshore expertise. The work will be varied and will include:
- Advising those based in the UK to mitigate inheritance, capital gains and other UK taxes
- Advising wealthy individuals/trusts not from the UK on international tax issues
- Advising clients on the use of trusts
- Advising clients on succession planning issues.
A working knowledge of trust law in most offshore jurisdictions would be desirable.
