This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to join the Construction department of this leading national top 200 private practice law firm within their Norwich city centre office. The firms roots go back to the 1800's and they and they are highly regarded by the legal 500, Chambers and also praised by such publications as The Lawyer.
The Construction team within the Property department, consisting of 4 individuals, acts for funders advising in relation to development/ project funding, for developers when putting in place contracts for developers and for consultants and contractors advising on the terms of the contract. The teams deals with contentious and non-contentious construction-relate. The value of development funding over the lat year is c £100 million.
Candidates must be able to show previous experience working within a construction department and knowledge of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. You must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In return you will be offered a competitive salary iro £ 40,000 - 55,000 dependant on experience along with an excellent benefits package. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 6 years PQE although applications from all candidates will be considered on their own merits.
