An opportunity for a qualified and experienced Mental Health Solicitor exists within this highly regarded national firm of Solicitors with a large office in Manchester city centre. The team works with a variety of mental health service providers on a range of matters: · The detention, management and compulsory treatment of patients under the Mental Health Act and related legislation. · Consent law. · Mental Health Review Tribunal proceedings. · The Mental Capacity Act 2005 and proceedings under it. · Continuing Care. · Coroners' inquests. · Relationship with criminal justice agencies - eg, MAPPA · Prison law. · Confidentiality. · Public Interest Immunity. · Homicide inquiries. · Complaints. · Partnership between the NHS, other public bodies, and independent or third sector providers. This is a fantastic chance to join a market leading team and work alongside some very well known individuals. Salary packages will be attractive (Up to £70,000 DOE).
