The expanding corporate/commercial team of this well-established South Staffordshire law firm has an excellent reputation built primarily on its work for owner-managed businesses but also in acting for UK subsidiaries of national and multi-national groups.
The team provides advice and assistance on a whole range of related matters including:
Corporate acquisitions and disposals
Banking and security documentation
Challenging local plans
Commercial agreements including intellectual property, computer contracts, supply agreements, distribution agreements, e-commerce agreements
Company procedural work including purchase of own shares, appointment and removal of directions and shareholders' agreements
Competition law
Corporate insolvency issues
Partnership (including LLP) and sole trader advice
Share option schemes
An opportunity now exists for an additional solicitor (ideally circa 2-4 yrs PQE but those with more experience are also of interest) to join the team and manage a mixed caseload of general commercial work. Local links, excellent client care skills and the ability to maintain existing relationships and develop new ones are key.
