Top 200 firm offering informed, specialist advice to a range of corporate and high net worth clients, have an opportunity for a solicitor to join their Legal 500 rated employment department.
The employment team offers a range of services to an impressive client list of PLC's, partnerships and sole traders. Files are both contentious and non-contentious. Non-contentious work includes providing training to client human resources teams, reviewing contracts, reviewing employment documentation and answering ad-hoc queries.
Contentious work involves defending respondent clients at tribunal against claims related to dismissal and harassment. The team generally do there own advocacy at tribunal, where possible.
This is an opportunity to become involved in all areas of the firms employment work in the South Wales area. Applicants should have a strong employment law background, be client focussed and pro active. The position is offered with excellent career development opportunities and could be offered at associate level for the right applicant.
