HEALTH CLAIMS (PI) ASSOCIATE - SHEFFIELD
Leading UK law firm is seeking an all round Accident/Industrial Disease Specialist to join the miscellaneous claims group of their Health Claims team, as part of the Dispute Resolution department in Sheffield. The group consists of one Partner, four Associates and a Legal Assistant. The team are best known for its work for the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) but it also works for large self-insured clients and other government departments. This role will be working in the areas such as accident claims, noise, asbestos and cancer.
The Role
Areas of responsibility for this position will focus on:
· Accidents in the workplace
· Public Liability claims
· NIHL claims
· Asbestos claims
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
· 1-2 years PQE
· Excellent organisational skills
· Defendant PI experience in a major or medium sized law firm, although good claimant experience is not a bar
· The ability to work as part of a team
· The ability to keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
· The ability to prioritise a number of tasks
· An attention to detail
