Our Client, who are a fantastic firm of Solicitors recognised by the Legal 500 are seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team based in Oxfordshire. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: · To assist all senior members of the team with cases of maximum severity. · Be involved in initial assessment of potential cases. · To manage a caseload with appropriate supervision, ensuring that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs. · To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording. · To comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors. · To ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations · To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff. · In liaison with the Head of Department and other partners, to be active in promoting the services of the firm and its image and ethos. · To be aware of the security of the buildings and the possibility of the presence of unauthorised persons, taking appropriate action when required. · To ensure that all equipment within the personal workspace is turned off at the end of the working day.
