Personal Injury Legal Assistant - Manchester
Our Client is a firm that prides itself on their reputation. As a firm they have continually expanded and have built a reputation for excellence.
Working within the Litigation Department as a technical claims assessor, you will be assessing claims to see if they warrant litigation or if legal arguments can be applied in order to reach an amicable settlement. The role entails recovery of credit hire, credit repairs and uninsured losses on behalf of our clients, most of our contact is with insurance companies but you will also be making daily contact with clients, their representatives i.e. insurance brokers, repairing garages, solicitors and various police authorities. The company has a number of different protocols with selected insurers and whilst they are not signatories to the ABI GTA the majority of the protocols mirror this.
Candidates must have previous claims handling experience and ability to negotiate.
