Personal Injury Legal Assistant Manchester City Centre Up To £15k
Our client specialises in personal injury claims and provides clients with up-to-date legal advice.
They are currently seeking a Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team based in Manchester City Centre.
The role will involve:
Assisting solicitors of the employment and personal injury department
Drafting letters, instructions to counsel
Drafting and calculating schedules and lost earnings
Preparing witness statements
Issuing proceedings and Negotiations with third parties
Dealing with incoming post and conditional fee explanations
Providing administrative support to RTA Personal Injury fee earners and solicitors
Extensive telephone contact with clients, third parties and other solicitors
Understanding and operating the Company's case management system and able to generate own letters as required
Able to deal with calls, take instructions and able to update and deal with queries
Under supervision, fully able to deal with further task as and when required
Also needed to be able to work under pressure, on ones own initiative and often without supervision
Candidates must have previous experience of working within Personal Injury.
