Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Manchester
Our client currently requires a Legal Clerk to join the Insurance, Lending and Recoveries Department.
The main purpose of the role is to assist Partners in providing legal advice and other legal services to the firm's clients. You will be involved in managing your own case load and be expected to work to agreed protocols and systems. Your caseload will primarily involve Fast Track claims.
The ideal candidates will have experience within an insurance company or legal practice dealing with claims of a personal injury/RTA nature. Exposure to the defendant litigation process, excellent client care skills and an ability to be flexible and willing to respond to rapid changes in schedules and priorities are essential.
The role would suit a confident, enthusiastic, practical and well motivated team player who is able to work on their own initiative and cope well under pressure.
The successful candidate will possess 4 GCSE/O Levels grades A C including (Maths and English) and also possess Part 1 ILEX, A driving licence is also essential, as is the willingness to drive in the course of employment.
