Clinical Negligence Solicitor / FILEX
Location: Bristol
Salary range: Market Rate
A position has become available within the well-established clinical negligence team for an experienced solicitor. Dealing solely with clinical negligence cases you will be responsible for a caseload of files on claims, which are predominantly ready to be issued
Responsibilities:
Manage your own caseload of files involving a wide range of clinical negligence cases
To supervise paralegals within the group under the direction of it's partner
To participate in team training and marketing activities
To participate in the auditing of cases as and when required and to maintain the groups case management procedures
It would be an advantage to have experience in dealing with Legal Expense Insurance work, as the majority of the caseload will involve LEI claims. (Although the firm does have a legal services commission franchise to carry out publicly funded work)
Experience:
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years PQE, preferably with a background In Personal Injury cases
Previous clinical negligence experience is essential.
Good working knowledge of CPR.
You will be a fully qualified Solicitor/ FILEX or equivalent
