**PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL - CLAIMAINT - BIRMINGHAM**
Our client has a busy Personal Injury department in Birmingham and they have a new job opportunity for an organised and self-motivated personal injury Paralegal to join its team. The post holder will handle a mixed caseload of claimant fast track RTA and EL cases effectively, ensuring a pro-active and high level of client care, working in compliance with relevant customer service level requirements. The main duties are as follows:
"Preliminary vetting and investigation of new claims.
"Obtaining and analyzing claimants' evidence/statutory duties.
"Statement taking from clients and witnesses.
"Special damages calculations and quantum investigations.
"Completing all admin work associated with office procedure.
"Completing all work in accordance with customer service level agreements.
"Conducting all cases/claims to trial with supervision.
"Assisting other members of the team when appropriate.
Candidates must have 2 years claimant Personal Injury experience and knowledge of the Personal Injury claim process to trial. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as are the abilities to cope with tight deadlines and work on own initiative. Good word processing and keyboard skills are also necessary. Some experience of running issued proceedings would be an advantage. Salary range £15k - £20k.
