A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to work within a government regulatory body on a permanent basis. Position is working within a leading governmental regulatory body, which offers brilliant benefits including pension, flexible benefits plus health etc benefits.
You would work within The Enforcement Division, which aims to be recognised as a centre of professional excellence in forensic investigation and public interest litigation, in the field of financial services and regulation.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with the project team in ensuring that all case files and records are maintained
- Working with the project team in reviewing evidence, document analysis and initial classification of
documents for relevance and disclosure purposes
- Conducting complex document preparation
- Assisting the project team with maintaining project management records and tasks and assisting in
organising and preparations for interviews, RDC, Tribunals, and Court
- Conducting and preparation of disclosure bundles
- Conducting legal/market and other research using relevant methods and systems e.g. law reports,
Companies House, TARDIS and Bloomberg
Must have the following attributes:
- Experience of document management (within the context of litigation preferable)
- Experience of analysing large volumes of information
- Experience of classifying evidence by reference to its relevance and sensitivity
- Legal qualification or substantial working experience in a legal context
- IT skills, including Word, Excel and similar packages
