HOUSING SUPERVISOR - NORTH WALES
A Housing Solicitor is required for a nationwide charity with multiple offices in Wales. You will be dealing with many offices across the North of Wales.
Purpose of Job: To provide a specialist legal casework service across North Wales and to assist with overseeing the quality of the casework
- Work with other solicitors and managers to provide supervision of senior caseworkers and ensure that work they undertake complies with the Legal Services Commission's Legal Help contract and Specialist Level Quality Mark and the Law Society's Practice Rules.
- Maintain an active caseload, including litigation, which enables homeless people or those with housing problems to enforce their existing rights. This involves litigation, including where appropriate judicial review, under a legal aid certificate.
