You'll assist (and deputise for) the Principal Lawyer in managing the provision of legal advice to Housing Services, Hillingdon Homes, Council Departments and Members. We'll also look to you for leadership in developing and nurturing a culture of professional quality service in keeping with our new structure and strategy.
A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with excellent advocacy skills and recent experience in County and Magistrates Courts, you must have solid experience and knowledge of Housing and/or Property Law, especially in the public housing sector, plus an understanding of a local authority's duties towards asylum seekers.
