Our client is an international law firm with over 280 partners and a total of 1000 lawyers world-wide, providing a full range of corporate and commercial services. The firm ranks amongst the top 100 global law firms.
They are currently looking to recruit a local authority lawyer who has from 2 years post qualification experience to join the Birmingham Projects & International Construction Group.
Our clients are focused on supporting local government with authoritative legal advice on key strategic issues, they combine the best of commercial and public law, backed by real experience of working in, and for, local authorities, to offer practical and sensitive advice.
The successful candidate will have a local government background with a thorough understanding of local authority governance and practices.
Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development in the local authority sector. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
