Job Description

This is a new and exciting role with an impressive insurance based practice. Working in a three partner team there are an additional 15 fee earners in the team thus meaning plenty of scope to develop and progress in this responsible and key role in what could almost be described as a national practice.

You will have the chance to roll your sleeves up and get involved in a wide variety of professional indemnity negligence cases taking in an impressively wide remit of professions. The caseload you will inherit will vary in nature and claim size/value and your role will include advising insurers on coverage issues.

Personality and fit are important here, they're a lovely friendly firm which is down to earth and has a very open culture and transparent working systems. You should possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, your drafting skills will be key and you will have experience of report writing to insurers within the London market.

In this results orientated practice your ability to build and nurture relationships will go rewarded, you will find here an energetic and committed group of professionals who are client focussed and genuinely enthusiastic about networking and business development opportunities. You will be given very positive encouragement to hone your existing marketing muscle to allow you to develop your skills further. A fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years relevant experience in professional negligence claims (both litigated and pre-litigation) against a wide range of professions. Re-insurance experience or an understanding of the basic principles of re-insurance would be advantageous.
