A new and exciting opportunity has become vacant for a Paralegal or experienced Legal Secretary to support the Banking Litigation team in London. This role is split between Paralegal and Legal Secretarial duties:-
Paralegal
· This is a fee earning role
· Pre-action disclosure tasks
· Preparing trial bundles
· Drafting Witness Statements, preliminary notices, letters of instruction to experts
· Researching points of law
Legal Secretary
· Filing/updating and maintaining filing system
· Faxing, photocopying and dealing with post
· Creating bills
· Drafting standard correspondence
· Audio typing using digital dictation
· Dealing with clients and taking telephone calls
· Diary management, arranging appointments
Skills & Experience:
· Previous legal experience is essential (3+ years) ideally within Litigation
· Excellent IT skills and experience with case management systems
· Fast and accurate typing ability (65wpm min)
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
