An excellent opportunity has arisen for you to join a highly regarded, chambers listed Commercial Firm in their Northampton office, handling regulatory work.

Ideally you will be a Civil Litigation Solicitor with between 1-3 years PQE or equivalent FILEX experience and a background handling Personal Injury, Public and Employers Liability, RTA, Product Liability and non-PI related liability claims.

You will have run your own caseload of fast and multi track matters handling all aspects of the process and have the ability to work unsupervised.

A background in defendant litigation but equivalent/relevant claimant experience considered together with a track record of working towards, and achieving, financial/other targets e.g. billing/time recording. The successful candidate will also have experience of Court hearings, DJ appointments/CMCs and experience of working for local authority clients/utility companies and with/for insurers would be an advantage. Knowledge of Magistrates Court procedure/motor prosecutions/defence would also be advantageous.
