Hot job. Top UK 100 law firm seeks a lively licencsing lawyer to join their well established and reputable practice.
This team has a burgeoning reputation in the area, built up via a combination of the quality of its client portfolio as well as the quality of the colleagues who work within the team.
So- first of all, what does the role involve? You'll work with a whole host of established clients in the main comprising well known and national household names. The work on which you'll thrive includes providing bespoke advice across different sectors of the licensing arena including betting, alcohol and entertainment.
This team of experts also do a not insignificant amount of work acting in respect of investigations surrounding liquor sold to under-age individuals. They have expertise on both sides of the law- prosecutions into breaches as well as defence work- lots of variety within this role to ensure that you'll always find one day very different from another.
Ideally you'll be an all rounder- someone who enjoys advising clients in a consultative manner as well as undertaking contentious work too. The role will involve lots of advocacy work and this is a really golden opportunity, whatever level of pqe you've reached, to build on those skills. The preferred candidate will have some prior knowledge of and experience in licensing and regulatory work but the key to succeeding with your application is enthusiasm!
