Our client has a vacancy for a full time legal cashier based in Dorking. Ideally applicants will have previous experience undertaking general accounting procedures in compliance with SAR's within a solicitors practice. Typically (but not exhaustive) the role will include: · Sending telegraphic transfers · Daily cheque run: drawing and distributing · Banking cheques and posting receipts · Liaise with bank regarding monies into client/office ac's plus allocate monies · Ordering foreign drafts/sending foreign payments · Petty cash: distributing/topping up · Balancing daily figures: Client/Office/VAT/bills · Assisting Partners/Fee earners with queries · Daily filing: posting documentation A salary of up to £27,000 p.a. is offered dependant upon experience.
