Our client is an established high street practice based in Bedfordshire. They currently require an Accounts Manager to run the company accounts and take the lead in the strategic financial planning for the firm.
Key responsibilities:
Managing and development of accounts team
Completing month end procedures and monthly reporting to Partners
Developing and implementing finance policies, procedures & internal controls
Continuous review and upgrading of control and reporting systems
Analysing nominal income, expenditure and cash flow
To assist in the production and subsequent analysis of the annual budget
Preparing capital expenditure information and maintaining fixed assets records
Managing monthly payroll through third party provider
Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Revenue requirements
Preparing VAT returns
