Job Description

Our client is a friendly Guildford based law firm. The firm has recently ungraded its Case Management System and is looking for a Systems Developer to join its small ICT team. Liaising with both technical and non-technical professionals this role will develop, maintain and enhance applications to improve functionality of systems and the productivity of the business. Key responsibilities include:
Liaising with both technical and non-technical professionals this role will develop, maintain and enhance applications to improve functionality of systems and the productivity of the business. Key responsibilities include:

· Developing case management workflows.
· Improving and automating tasks within Microsoft Office applications.
· Writing bespoke scripts and applications to support back office IT projects.
· SQL Management and Maintenance
· Integration between (and Publication of data from) key applications.
· 2nd Line Application support for Users

Ideally a graduate with experience of the legal or professional services arena, you will need a background in OO development ( VB or C# ) and MS SQL ( or TSQL). any experience of workflow design or working with a Case Management System ( Iris, Videss, Visualfiles, etc) will be advantageous as would knowledge of Progress or XML
