Excellent opportunity in Manchester. Applications are invited from strong Legal Cashiers. Salary up to £21k
Our client is a law firm based in Manchester. They have been established for many years and are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their growing team. This role would suit someone who likes to work within a team environment but is looking for more autonomy and responsibility within the role, to make their own decisions and manage their own work load.
This would also appeal to Legal Cashiers who are looking to gain experience in all aspects of the role to include month and year end batch accounts. This firm provides excellent training and a structure for development and growth with excellent opportunities for career progression.
Main duties include:
* Managing the purchase ledger
* Responsible for posting client and office receipts and payments
* Dealing with the nominal ledger
* Responsible for private client and legal aid postings
* Client and office Bank reconciliation's
* Responsible for the Purchase Ledger
* Posting and producing bills
* Dealing with fee earner queries
* Producing month end and year end reports
* Responsible for the compliance of Solicitors Accounts Rules

* Good interpersonal and team working skills
* Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
