An excellent opportunity for an experience Legal Secretary with previous Intellectual Property experience has arisen in Manchester. Salary to £20K
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Intellectual Property secretary. You will have an extensive background in office procedures.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated individual with a variety of office, administrative and personal skills including audio typing, filing and the ability to communicate at all levels and with experience of dealing with confidential information.
To deal with incoming client calls ensuring that the fee-earner is aware of all messages and that the client is left with a positive and professional image of the firm.
To deal with outgoing telephone calls ensuring they are conducted in a professional and courteous manner and information is conveyed accurately and timely.
To file documents in accordance with the department's and the fee-earners system ensuring latest correspondence is accessible at all times so that accurate advice can be given.
To store all documents (manual and computerised) in such a way that other secretaries and fee-earners can access them at all times.
To ensure that billing is up-to-date and liaise with the fee-earner where this is not the case.
To undertake duties in the knowledge that the workload is to be dealt with in a highly confidential/sensitive manner.
