EL & PL Fee Earner wanted for Bury based opportunity working on pre-issue aspects of defended actions, particularly liability issues. Salary upwards of £18k. Our client acts for some of the leading UK insurers and public bodies. Maintaining a focus on litigated matters, an increasing proportion of our client's business now involves claims pre-proceedings and counter fraud advice and consultancy. Due to a steady increase in workload our client is seeking a hard working and proactive EL & PL Fee Earner. Defendant experience an advantage though not essential. Duties will include the receipt of initial instruction, reviewing evidence and supplementary documentation to produce reports for clients and claims handlers. The successful applicants will deal with all matters up to when a matter is issued including the conducting of investigations in to the claim and interviewing the insureds. Dealing with electronic. hard copy and telephone communication on a daily basis candidates should demonstrate a high level of client servicing as well as excellent communication skills.
