As an in house lawyer you will be expected to work as a member of the General Insurance Legal Team in driving forward UK legal strategy Supporting the development and implementation of the General Insurance Legal Team's business plan, developing its talent and managing legal risk Assist with: Provision of support on general (non-life) insurance and reinsurance matters. Provision of support on regulatory and commercial contract matters. Management of relationships with external law firms Areas of support and advice to include: oInsurance and reinsurance policy drafting in relation to personal lines and global insurance. oReview and drafting of general commercial agreements including security documentation (e.g. letters of credit, parental guarantees), outsourcing agreements (eg delegated authorities and claims handling), NDAs and marketing agreements. oReview of local government tender documentation. oGlobal insurance programme structuring. oAssisting with regulatory and legal compliance issues. oGeneral EU and EEA related insurance issues. oTransferring insurance liabilities (eg novations, commutations and loss portfolio transfers) oBroker issues. oClaims related issues. oReview of marketing materials/promotions (online and offline) and brochure ware webpages. excellent career prospects for candidates seeking a long term career in house Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
